DCM Event blocking main event processing

 Main event processing occupied

Email not being sent, issues with notification and scheduled reports. The reason could be that main event processing is blocked or main event is busy handling other events

 Solution

Follow the following steps to verify that the issue is related to DCM and to resolve.

  1. Go to Event Log under System Policy from application navigator. The list should include events created Today.

  2. Filter Event Log by name which starts with “x_jugr_dcm” and processed is empty. If needed remove default applied condition “Created on Today”.

  3. If the number of row is greater than 100 000, then it could be that the event processing is taking more time. If the number of event is smaller the issue could be something else.

  4. Refresh the list and note how many events are being processed in a minute.

  5. If the number of event processed is quite few then it would be better to use dedicated event processor. Otherwise the issue could be something else.

  6. In order to use dedicated event processor create a system property x_jugr_dcm.uam.weighing.dedicated_queue with value true.

 

Using dedicated event processor could slow processing duration of audit, as of R5.2 we only use one dedicated event processor.
